How a Rangpur School Took Control of Fees, Results and Attendance with Schoolz VIP

Every principal in Rangpur knows the month-end question: "How much is still due, and from whom?" In most schools nobody can answer it on the spot. The answer is somewhere in a receipt book, an Excel file and the accounts clerk's memory.
A school in Rangpur decided it was done with that. It now runs its office on Schoolz VIP, the school and college management system we built for how Bangladeshi institutions actually work. Here's what changed.
What problems does school management software solve?
Before Schoolz VIP, the school had the same five problems we hear about in almost every principal's office:
- Unpaid fees slip away. With paper receipts, nobody knows on a given day who owes how much, or since when. Some students leave with a TC and their dues are never collected.
- Results take weeks. Marks are copied by hand from scripts to registers to tabulation sheets, and every copy is a chance for a mistake.
- Board deadlines turn into a rush. eSIF registration, form fill-up and admit cards mean late nights, and one misspelled name can follow a student for years.
- Guardians find out too late. A parent learns weeks later, at a meeting, that their child has been missing classes.
- Audits mean searching cupboards. The committee, the auditor and BANBEIS each want figures, and each request means days of digging.
What changed after the school moved to Schoolz VIP?
- Fees: every payment, whether bKash, Nagad or cash at the counter, updates the dues list immediately. The principal can see who owes what on any day.
- Results: teachers enter marks once. GPA, including the 4th-subject rule, is calculated the same way every time, and submitted marks are locked unless the exam controller approves a change.
- Attendance: guardians get an absence SMS the same morning, not at the next meeting.
- Board work: student records are checked against the board format before eSIF time, and the BANBEIS return comes from records the office already keeps.
- Everyone sees their own screen: the principal sees the whole institution, a teacher sees today's classes, and a guardian sees their own child.
None of this makes the school "high-tech" for its own sake. It means the accounts office stops chasing paper, teachers stop recalculating GPA, and parents stop being the last to know.
How long does it take a school to switch?
About six weeks. We set it up at the campus with the office staff. We also move old registers and Excel files into the system for free, so nobody retypes a single student's name. Bangla and English versions, morning and day shifts and school and college sections all run on one system.
Why choose a software company from northern Bangladesh?
Because the school wanted people who would come to the campus, not a support ticket number. We're based in Saidpur, a short trip from Rangpur, and we've built the same tools for schools across the division. That includes Autoroutine, which builds a full-year class routine and handles teacher leave and substitutes automatically.
Does Schoolz VIP work for colleges and large schools?
Yes. It was designed for institutions with school and college sections, two versions and two shifts. That's the most complicated setup in Bangladesh, so smaller schools fit easily.
How do I get a demo for my school in Rangpur?
We'll come to your campus and show it with your own classes. See our software company in Rangpur page, browse the portfolio, or contact us directly.
