Software Company in Saidpur: How Our Software Is Changing Daily Life in Schools and Communities

September 29, 2026

Ask anyone outside the north what "software company" means and they'll point to Dhaka. We're building in Saidpur instead, for people who live here. Our clients are the schools down the road, the volunteers who run blood drives on weekends and the office staff who still remember doing routines on chart paper.
This post isn't a list of services. It covers four things we've built in Saidpur, who uses them, and what's different in their day now.
Is there a real software company in Saidpur?
Yes. TrustByte Ltd is based in Saidpur, Nilphamari. We design and build websites, school and business software and mobile apps, and we support them after launch. Most of our local work is with schools, colleges and community organisations, and everything below is live and in use today.
Autoroutine: the class routine that runs itself at Cantonment Public School & College
Cantonment Public School & College, Saidpur (CPSCS) is a big institution. It runs Nursery to Class XII, has Bangla and English versions, and its college section has practical periods. Its routine was always a big job: alternating-week periods, sections that rotate on a schedule, and more than 160 teachers who all need to be in the right room at the right time.
Then a teacher calls in sick at 7 am. Somebody in the office has to work out who's free for periods 2, 3 and 5, check that they can actually teach that class, and phone them before the bell. Every school office in Bangladesh knows that morning.
Autoroutine is the system we built for exactly this, and it's in daily use at CPSCS:
- The full-year routine in one go. Subject quotas, teacher eligibility, weekly and alternating-week periods and parallel classes are generated without clashes, then fine-tuned by drag and drop.
- Leave on a phone, cover in one tap. A teacher applies for leave from their phone, and the right approver taps once. A free teacher who is eligible for that class is assigned to every affected period. Both teachers get an SMS and an app notification.
- Ready for the notice board. Class routines print one class per A4 page with the school crest. There are teacher-wise sheets too, and a read-only link for parents and students.
- Access by level. Coordinators see their level and vice-principals see theirs. An audit log records who changed what.
What has changed is simple. A teacher on leave doesn't have to find their own replacement, and the substitute isn't surprised at the classroom door. The office starts the day knowing every period is covered. A teacher app for Android is coming next, so every teacher will have their own day, week and month in their pocket. (We wrote about how Autoroutine assigns substitutes in detail.)
CPSCS Connect: 47 years of a school's story, online
CPSCS also asked us to build CPSCS Connect, a heritage and community website for the institution. The school opened on 4 April 1979 with 5 teachers and 176 students. Today it has about 4,400 students and 146 faculty members. That history was scattered across files, photographs and people's memories.
The site gathers it in one place:
- A Living Heritage Timeline from 1979 to 2026 with its milestones on record
- An interactive campus master plan where you pick a building, lab or ground to see what it is
- A Wall of Achievements, from board results to robotics and olympiad medals
- An ex-student world map and an Officers' Roll, so alumni anywhere can add themselves and find each other
For a former student living far from Saidpur, this is how they find their batch again. For a current student, it's proof that people from this campus have gone very far. Read the full CPSCS Connect story.
Schoolz VIP: fees, attendance and results at another Saidpur school
A second school in Saidpur runs its office on Schoolz VIP, our school and college management system. Its problems were ones every principal will recognise:
- Nobody could say on a given day who owed fees, or since when
- Marks were copied by hand from scripts to registers to tabulation sheets
- eSIF and board work turned into late nights every season
- Guardians found out about absences weeks later, at a meeting
Now each payment (bKash, Nagad or cash at the counter) updates the dues list straight away. Teachers enter marks once, and GPA, including the 4th-subject rule, is calculated automatically. Guardians get an absence SMS the same morning, not at the next parents' meeting. Student records are checked against the board format before eSIF time comes around.
A school's real job is teaching. Every hour the office doesn't spend retyping names goes back to that.
SWOS: a community platform and mobile app for Saidpur's volunteers
The Social Welfare Organization of Saidpur (SWOS) is a non-political group of students, teachers, engineers, doctors and business people. It has spent nine years on tree planting, anti-drug campaigns, scholarships for poor students, relief work and blood donation, all on volunteer time.
Volunteer groups run on goodwill. They also run on phone calls, Facebook posts and somebody's notebook, and things get lost that way. We built SWOS a community platform with a mobile app for members and volunteers:
- Volunteer sign-up, so people who want to give time have a clear way in
- A blood bank, so a family looking for a donor in an emergency isn't relying on a forwarded message
- Help requests for education, medical or emergency needs, which go to the people who can act on them
- Donations, with bKash instructions shown on the spot
- An archive of 33 programmes and 499 photos across nine years, so the organisation's work is visible and accountable
When someone in Saidpur needs blood at midnight, the time it takes to find a donor matters. That's the kind of software we like building. More on the SWOS platform.
Why does a local software company matter?
Because we can turn up. We sit in the vice-principal's office while the routine gets entered. We see what the accounts clerk actually does with the receipt book. We fix the problem in person when the SMS gateway changes its rates. Software built from a Dhaka office for "schools in general" often misses how a school in Saidpur actually runs: two versions, two shifts, a college section and a cantonment calendar.
It also matters for jobs. Every project we build here is work done by people from here.
What else are we building across the north?
The same approach runs through our work in the wider district and division. In Nilphamari, we built digital MP offices where citizens report problems and track progress. In Rangpur, a school runs its fees, attendance and results on Schoolz VIP. You can see more in our portfolio.
